Madison, WI (2 locations) ***NOTE UW/Downtown LOCATION CHANGE-- JANUARY 3, 2017 ONWARD***

  • UW Campus/Downtown Buses now load on the south side of Langdon Street near Lake Street, directly across from 702 Langdon. Look for the signs that indicate "Intercity Bus Loading Zone."
  • Dutch Mill Park & Ride: Located at Highway 51 (Stoughton Road) and Broadway, for GPS use “4545 East Broadway,” Buses will load from the bus shelters along Broadway, nearest the Highway 51 stoplights. Limited free parking is available for up to 7 days.

Janesville, WI: Van Galder Bus Terminal, 3120 N. Pontiac Dr. This facility is open and staffed from 4:30 AM until 11:00 PM. Parking is available at $2.00 per day. A permit must be displayed. A permit may be purchased from the agent on-duty, or from the driver if the terminal is closed.

South Beloit, Illinois: FasMart/McDonalds Travel Plaza, 15766 Manchester Road. Located near Highway 75 & I-39/90 (Exit 1). Parking is available with permit from attendant at $3.00 per day. Please park in the designated area.

Rockford, Illinois (2 locations)

  • Van Galder Terminal: 7559 Walton St. (off Bell School Road, one block south of East State St.) Facility is open and staffed from 3:00 AM until 12:45 AM. Parking is available at $3.00 per day. This is the main location serving all destinations on our routes.

  • Clock Tower Resort: 7801 East State St. SERVICE TO O’HARE ONLY. Buses load near the front circle, at the entrance off of East State Street. Parking is available at the front desk of the hotel by permit at $5.00 per day. * 

    • *While the resort is temporarily closed, the parking lot will remain open for bus customers. Payment for parking permits will be accepted at the front desk, which will be staffed during all bus departure times. 

Dropping off at O’Hare Airport

Buses drop off on the upper (departure) level of each domestic terminal 1, 2, and 3; and then the international terminal 5. When you first board the bus, the driver will ask which terminal.  Your luggage will be loaded accordingly. Refer to the airport website for the most updated terminal information.link

If you are catching a train to the city or connecting to other ground transportation, we recommend using terminal 2.

Boarding the bus from O’Hare Airport

For arriving international flights: The bus will depart from the lower level (arrivals) at the international terminal number 5. Buses load outside door number 5E.  You will see a bus shelter along the outer curb.

For arriving domestic flights: Buses load outside door 4 of the Bus Shuttle Center.

Directions to the Bus Shuttle Center:

  • From your arrival gate: Follow the signs toward baggage claim/ground transportation. Once you get to the lower baggage claim area you will see red and blue signs directing you to the Bus Shuttle Center

  • Driving to O’Hare: Follow the signs towards “Arrivals” for the domestic terminals. This is the lower level roadway. Once on the lower level, you will see signs for the Bus Shuttle Center, which is directly across from the lobby of the O’Hare Hilton.

Dropping off at Midway Airport

Buses drop off at the upper (departure) level at Midway Airport.

Boarding the bus from Midway Airport

Buses load from the lower (arrivals) level, between doors 3 and 4. You will see a sign along the curb that says “Regional Buses.”

Dropping off and boarding the bus in Downtown Chicago at the Amtrak Station/Union Station

Buses drop off and pick up along the east curb on Canal Street, in the block between Jackson and Adams. The nearest address is 225 S. Canal Street. You will see a sign that says “Amtrak Thruway Bus.” However, this is a heavily congested area and the bus will pull up anywhere there is room along the curb.
